1. Who we are

EVLedger is operated by Benjamin Elliott ("we", "us", "our"). By accessing or using the EVLedger website and application (the "Service"), you ("you", "user") agree to these Terms & Conditions.

2. The service

EVLedger lets you log electric vehicle charging sessions and view related statistics, cost-per-mile data, and savings comparisons. The Service is provided on an "as is" basis with no guarantee of uninterrupted or error-free performance.

3. Account & accuracy

You must be of legal age to enter into a contract in your jurisdiction. You are responsible for the accuracy of information you provide and for keeping your account credentials confidential. You are responsible for all activity under your account.

4. Acceptable use

You must not:

  • use the Service unlawfully or for fraud, spam, or abuse;
  • infringe anyone's intellectual property or privacy rights;
  • interfere with the security of the Service (including probing, scraping, or distributing malware);
  • reverse engineer, resell, or redistribute the Service.

5. Intellectual property

All software, content, branding, and documentation that make up the Service are owned by us or our licensors. You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service for your personal or internal business use.

6. Pricing

EVLedger is currently provided free of charge. We may introduce paid features in the future and, if we do, we will update these Terms and notify users in advance.

7. Suspension & termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service for material breach of these Terms, non-payment, fraud or security risk, or repeated policy violations. On termination, you may export your data for a reasonable period before it is deleted.

9. Disclaimers

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. Savings and cost calculations are estimates based on the data you enter and assumptions you configure; they are not financial advice.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the Service is limited to the fees you paid for the Service in the 12 months before the claim. We exclude liability for indirect, consequential, or special damages. Nothing in these Terms limits liability for fraud, death, or personal injury where prohibited by law.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified through the Service. Continued use after a change constitutes acceptance.
